Editorial cover illustration "La mujer de las nieves"

Illustration created as a proposal for a book cover for a fictional fantasy novel.

The project's objective was to develop an image capable of conveying a wintry, silent, and mysterious atmosphere, contrasted with a woman (yuki-onna) who is resolute and confident even in this environment, intended to serve as the main illustration for a book cover.

The illustration was specifically designed for an A5 wraparound cover. During its composition, a 10mm spine, a 5mm bleed, and a 5mm safe area on each side were considered to ensure the image functioned correctly within the typical limitations of editorial printing. The visible graphic elements (title, synopsis, logo, ISBN, and mockup) were added solely for visual reference to contextualize the illustration and are not part of my work as the illustrator.
